As a president of the Korean Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS) and on behalf of the organizing committees, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 12th Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Aerospace Technology (APISAT 2020).
APISAT has been the primer symposium and network for advancing the aerospace sciences and technologies in the Asia-Pacific region since its first inception in 2008 by the national aerospace societies of Korea (KSAS), Japan (JSASS), China (CSAA), and Australia (RAeS Australian Division).
The Asia-Pacific region has shown more significant growth in the aerospace industry than it did in the past. Collaboration within this region may be very beneficial and crucial to all the nations. The symposium will provide an opportunity for both academic researchers and industry engineers to discuss the current and future topics in aerospace engineering. The organizing committee has been preparing exciting and informative conference programs including plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, tutorials on wide topics, poster presentations and social programs.
APISAT 2020, hosted by the Korean Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS), will be held on Nov. 16th to 18th, 2020 at the Ramada Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea. Jeju is a beautiful island in South Korea as well as the nation’s symbolic icon providing the opportunity for visitors to experience mixed atmosphere of ancient Asian culture and incredible natural sites such as islands, volcanoes, waterfalls, beaches, national parks, caves and forests.
I greatly appreciate your participation and eagerly hope that APISAT 2020 will be a memorable event for all of you. In addition, I would like to convey my special thanks to the members of the APISAT 2020 Organizing Committee for their great effort.
I look forward to seeing you in Jeju!
Professor Jae-Woo Lee
President of the Korean Society for
Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS)
